The Tattersall's Finke Desert Race is the greatest desert race in the southern hemishpere. It attracts record entrants and thousands of spectators for a gruelling 460 km ride across the Simpson Desert.  Mark competed in this gruelling race and tired and battered managed to finish it.  Not for the faint hearted.
